Why? Why did I create a pet business when you can get most things for cheap mass produced from Chain stores?
Quality and ethics. Every. Single. Time. We are at dog parks or dog areas we find ourselves collecting up discarded dog toys to throw out. All of them are from major chains particularly tennis balls which are understandably easy to lose. All of this led me to look at our op shops and community forums for free or second hand materials, as well as implementing research of my own on which materials both have longevity but won’t destroy the environment. My other issue with these toys was safety, hollow balls full of mold or broken in half, fabrics that seperate from the product, and they were largely tennis balls which are my biggest pet peeve in the dog world due to the injury rate. So what have we done? Designed tugs made out of recycled fleece and we have tested them with a wide array of our own dogs. We are offering a service where you can send us old fleece blankets to create tugs, your dogs favourite toy can be sent in to be attached to a tug or even if you have old clothes or fabric that you think your dog could rock, we can make those into accessories. We don’t want you to just buy products from us but we want you to be involved actively in sustainability in your own home with your pet!
